The Atlas TC289 w/Dual Assist Arms is a large rim clamp and swing arm tire changer ideal for general automotive service departments, medium-sized tire stores, and farm use. This model features the Atlas® DAA-SA dual assist arm package, including a left-hand mounted arm with a pressing block and pressing/lifting disk, plus a right-hand mounted arm with a pressing/lifting disk and bead roller. These dual assist arms provide an extra set of hands, significantly easing the process of changing stiff sidewall, low profile, and runflat tires, saving time and effort.
Equipped with the largest turntable and maximum clearance, the TC289DAA handles the biggest diameter tires, making it perfect for large SUVs and one-ton trucks. It includes a built-in "Beadblaster" system that assists in inflating hard-to-inflate tires.
Atlas® wheel clamp tire changers are engineered to service both high-priced alloy wheels and steel wheels without causing damage. The powerful adjustable bead breaker efficiently breaks stubborn and rusted beads without harming rims. The turntable jaws are designed to securely hold rims without damage and can be positioned in three different mounting locations to accommodate a wide range of tire sizes.
